Release: Republican Senate Nominee Steve Kaiser Doubles Down on Extremism and Endorses Candidates with Anti-Government Ties

Democratic Senate Nominee Jeanne Casteen condemns her opponents hard right turn

PHOENIX, AZ – Republican Nominee for State Senate in LD2 Steve Kaiser’s history of extremist views has continued on the campaign trail for State Senate.

Kaiser has endorsed a known member of the extremist ideology group, the 3 Percenters, for the Deer Valley school board. He has campaigned with a man convicted of domestic assault and who sued the police for his arrest.

In the legislature, Kaiser has a track record of supporting extreme bills. He co-sponsored the legislation to drain $1 billion a year from our public schools. He supported legislation restricting what can be taught and what books can be present in our schools. He supported legislation banning ballot drop boxes and restricting state employees from registering voters.

“Steve Kaiser’s alarming track record of extreme choices and behavior should concern every resident of LD2,” said Democratic Senate Nominee Jeanne Casteen. “The residents of this district do not support defunding our public schools, restricting the ability of our schools to teach an accurate representation of our history or attacks on our freedom to vote.”
