Electing Democrats to the AZ State Legislature
In 2012, the Arizona legislature was dominated by a Republican supermajority, with only 20 Democrats in the House and 9 Democrats in the Senate. Fed up with the lack of Democratic representation, then House and Senate Leaders, Dr. Eric Meyer and current Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, created the Arizona Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (ADLCC).
History
Our mission starts with recruiting and supporting talented candidates with strong roots in their community and a clear vision of what it means to be an Arizonan. We work with partners and community organizations to identify and recruit these candidates in key districts. To ensure candidates are most effectively placed for the election cycle, we equip candidates with:
partner and donor support
staff recruitment and management
coordinated paid communications, including television, radio, mail, and more
Support Incumbents
To grow and defend Democratic power in our state, we serve as a trusted resource for incumbent Democratic legislators, providing them with tools to lead and communicate effectively with their voters.
