State House Candidate Kelli Butler Breaks Fundraising Record, Strong Third Quarter Propels LD4 Democrats to New Milestone
Democrats have broken fundraising records, knocked on thousands of doors, and locked in ad buys in an effort to regain a Democratic majority
Phoenix, Ariz - Thanks to a strong third quarter for fundraising, the Legislative District 4 Democratic slate of nominees crossed more than $1.4 million raised to date. This comes just one week after the slate crossed the $1 million milestone.
State House candidate Karen Gresham raised $283,000, marking this as one of the top fundraising quarters for any candidate in LD4. Her running mate, Kelli Butler, snagged the top fundraising spot by raising $288,000 during the third quarter. This is the largest single quarter fundraising haul for any LD4 candidate in either chamber.
In total, Karen Gresham has raised more than $475,000 to date and Kelli Butler has raised $500,000 to date. 88% of donors to Kelli Butler contributed for the first time.
On the Senate side, Senator Christine Marsh raised more than $142,000 during the quarter propelling her past the $450,000 raised to date threshold.
“I am so thrilled by the level of support shown to me by everyone who contributed to help elect a legislature that will put Arizonans first,” said Kelli Butler. “Our campaign is strong because of the thousands of people who know that a better Arizona is possible when we elect a new legislative majority.”
