The Battleground Districts
Despite right-wing interference in the independent redistricting process, this year there are real opportunities to protect Democratic seats and pave the way to a Democratic majority by targeting and investing in Legislative Districts 2, 4, 9, 13, and 16 in order to flip both chambers from red to blue this November.
Arizona is a top battleground target for the 2022 election cycle, with only one seat away from tying the State House and Senate and two seats away from a majority. We are finally in the position to flip both legislative chambers, having flipped House District 20 and Senate District 28 this past election.
In addition to our Battleground Districts, the ADLCC in partnership with the Arizona Democratic Party’s Project 15/30, will ensure we are organizing in every corner of the state to build our Democratic base by registering and engaging with new voters in Democratic-leaning and rural areas.
