RELEASE: Judge Strikes Down Republicans’ Anti-Worker, Anti-Public Safety Initiative HCR2040

ARIZONA - In response to the Superior Court of Maricopa County striking down Republicans’ anti-worker, anti-public safety ballot initiative HCR2040, ADLCC Executive Director Sara Kennedy released the following statement: 

“Today is a victory for working families, their unions, and advocates who fought tirelessly to defeat this harmful Republican-led initiative,” said ADLCC Executive Director Sara Kennedy. “Arizonans are tired of anti-worker Republicans putting partisan politics ahead of working families and their freedom to have a voice on the job. Come November, we’re confident working people will remember who stood with Arizona workers and public safety, and who tried to take away their freedoms.”
