Release: Arizona GOP Asks If Republicans Are Ready To Die To Overturn Election Results

PHOENIX — In another desperate attempt to undermine democracy, the Arizona Republican Party has asked its followers if they are willing to die for the cause of overturning the presidential election results after sharing a conspiracy tweet on Monday from its official Twitter account.

These dangerous comments from Arizona’s GOP further erode the very foundation of freedom and democracy on which our country is founded. After a fair and certified election, the Arizona Republican Party refuses to accept the results.

We deserve leaders who will fight to uphold democracy, instead of spreading conspiracy theories and ignoring facts. These shameful comments from the AZ GOP are attacks on the basic freedoms and independence we Arizonans hold dear.

This is only the beginning of erratic actions and unfounded claims to expect from the GOP during the upcoming legislative session.
