Release: Senator pushes anti-vaxxer bill amid national health crisis

PHOENIX — Freshman Senator Paul Boyer is making a name for himself as the leading anti-vaccine proponent of the Arizona Legislature. This session Sen. Boyer has introduced and sponsored two anti-vaccine bills, SB1114 and SB1115, which stem from junk science not supported by any credible health organization.“At a time when we are seeing a national measles outbreak on the rise across the country – largely due to the anti-vaccine movement – Boyer’s support for these bills is completely irresponsible and puts every child in Arizona at risk. We need sound and thoughtful leadership in the legislature that will protect Arizona children from harmful diseases,”  said Arizona DLCC spokeswoman Murphy Bannerman
