Dr. Amelia Gallitano is a doctor, single mom, and lifelong problem solver who has dedicated her career to improving the lives of Arizona families. A board-certified psychiatrist, she spent nearly a decade caring for veterans with PTSD while helping train the next generation of Arizona physicians as a founding professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. Amelia has spent her career listening, following the evidence, and solving complex problems with compassion and integrity. Now she's running for the Arizona State Senate to bring that same practical, people-first approach to lowering costs, strengthening public education, expanding access to health care, and protecting Arizona's future.
