Julia Romero Gusse

Service has always been at the center of Julia Romero Gusse's life. As an Air Force veteran, educator, real estate professional, and former Maricopa City Councilmember, Julia has spent decades helping Arizona families build stronger futures.

Julia began her career in the United States Air Force, where she developed the leadership, discipline, and commitment to service that continue to guide her today. After her military service, she became a teacher and college administrator, helping students develop the skills and confidence they needed to succeed. As the Director of Veterans Upward Bound at Arizona State University, she assisted many veterans move into higher education.

She later built a successful career in real estate, helping families navigate one of the most important steps in life and gaining firsthand insight into the challenges of housing affordability and economic security.

Throughout her career, Julia has remained committed to public service. From serving on the Maricopa City Council to advocating for veterans and military families as an Advisor with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She has focused on bringing people together, solving problems, and delivering results for her communities.

Now, Julia is running for the Arizona Legislature to continue her lifetime of service. She is focused on strengthening public education, supporting veterans and military families, expanding economic opportunity, and ensuring Arizona remains a place where families can afford to live, work, and succeed.
