Kristie O’Brein

Born and raised in the East Valley, Kristie O'Brien grew up in Chandler. The daughter of a social worker and granddaughter of a police officer and volunteer fireman, Kristie learned the value of hard work, service, and perseverance from her family and neighbors and is instilling that in her twin boys. Kristie has spent her life giving back to the community she proudly calls home. Having experience in environmental, family, healthcare, intellectual property, international, and international criminal law, Kristie is ready to bring these qualifications to the Arizona State Capitol.

As a lawyer turned mediator, Kristie brings people together to find practical solutions and build common ground.

Her experiences as a legal professional, mother, caregiver, and advocate have allowed her to see the pressures Arizona’s families face—from rising costs, access to affordable healthcare, protecting our water resources, to ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
