Kristie O’Brien

Kristie O'Brien is a mediator and single mom to twins from Chandler. She has spent her career bringing people together for common solutions. Kristie worked with both Democrats and Republicans in the U.S. Senate on bipartisan clean water legislation. Now she's a court mediator, helping opposing sides find common ground rather than going to trial. O'Brien is running to take on the big corporations that are taking advantage of us. She will fight against price gouging and hold big corporations and monopolies accountable to lower the price of groceries, healthcare, utilities, and housing while fully funding our public schools.

Kristie’s Top Message: Kristie O’Brien is a lawyer, court mediator, and single mom to twins from Chandler.  Nearly a decade ago, Kristie faced a healthcare crisis as a new mother, delivering her twins by emergency C-section. Even with insurance, she came dangerously close to facing bankruptcy because of medical bills. She’s running because the political system is broken with big corporations taking advantage of us. She’ll fight to take on corruption and work to make quality healthcare more affordable, fully fund our public schools and lower our  energy costs.

Top Hits On Willoughby: Julie Willoughby focuses on listening to her political donors instead of working for Arizona’s interests. She’s taken thousands of dollars in campaign cash from corporate lobbyists, insurance and utility companies, and then voted to help their interests and increase health care costs and energy bills for Arizona families.  Instead of focusing on commonsense solutions, she pushed an extremist partisan agenda to ban books, force students into gay conversion therapy, and ban abortion.

Jacob Weinberg

Jacob’s Top Message: Jacob was commissioned into the US Army after the September 11th terrorist attacks and served in the 82nd Airborne Division as a Ranger, expert infantryman, and combat veteran of the Iraq War. Jacob built a career as a CPA, bringing accountability and financial oversight to businesses, while also serving as Lieutenant Colonel in the National Guard. Now he’s running to bring that accountability to the state. He’ll safeguard Arizona taxpayer dollars and fight to lower grocery costs by increasing competition, stop utility companies from jacking up electricity and water rates, demand oversight of data centers, and protect Arizonans from data centers driving up energy costs.

Top Hits On Hartke and Weninger: Janet Weninger is a partisan extremist who’s focused on taking away our freedoms rather than fighting to lower costs and strengthen our economy. She supports banning all abortions, even in cases of rape or incest. Jennifer Weninger is focused on the wrong things and is wrong for Arizona.

Janet Weninger and Kevin Hartke are supported by the same politicians pushing to build more data centers across Arizona without any accountability, even as they’re passing on higher energy costs onto Arizonans. Under Kevin Hartke, Chandler increased utility rates by double digits.

Jacob Weinberg is a U.S. Army combat veteran, a small business owner who has spent more than two decades leading teams and serving others. As a veteran and Chief Financial Officer of an Arizona-based technology solutions company, Jacob understands the importance of strong leadership, fiscal responsibility, and creating opportunities for working families.

Throughout his career, Jacob has focused on service, problem-solving, and helping people succeed. His experiences in the military, the private sector, and veteran advocacy have shown him the challenges facing Arizona families from rising costs and access to quality education to ensuring veterans receive the support they have earned.

Racquel’s Top Message: Rockee Armstrong is a higher education leader, a Division I coach, and a cancer survivor whose work has inspired the next generation of teachers and athletes. She will fight back against special interests and work to strengthen our public schools while creating more apprenticeships, investing in technical careers, and protecting Arizonans from data centers passing on higher energy costs.
