Release: ADLCC Board Co-Chair Rep. De Los Santos on Proposition 212 Not Making the November Ballot

ARIZONA - Today, following the Arizona Supreme Court ruling that Proposition 212, an initiative to add necessary accountability measures to the ESA voucher program, will not be on the ballot, ADLCC Board Co-Chair Rep. Oscar De Los Santos released the following statement:

“Voters have time and time again made it clear that they want accountability measures for vouchers,” said ADLCC Board Co-Chair Rep. Oscar De Los Santos. “We must stop the relentless attempts by Republicans to dismantle our public education system and elect pro-education Democrats who can stop them. Now that voters won't have a chance to vote directly on Prop 212, electing a Democratic majority is the only way we will get real solutions on vouchers and protect public education.”
