We Don't Believe the Lies from GOP About Our Schools

In case you missed it, the Arizona Republic looked into Republican claims about increased spending on education. It’s clear from the report that even though spending has increased overall, per-pupil funding has gone nowhere while school population and inflation have skyrocketed.

The AZGOP likes to bend the numbers into the narrative that works for them, but we know the truth. Our students need real investment, and Democrats are fighting for just that.

Republicans think vouchers are the solution instead of going all-in on ensuring all children can attend fully funded public schools regardless of zip code.

We think that’s way off, and Democrats believe in the value of public education. All young people are ready to take on the toughest challenges of tomorrow.
