RELEASE: LD9 Democrats Outraise Republican Opponents in Q2

Arizona — With Q2 fundraising reports now filed, every Democratic LD9 candidate, Senator Kiana Sears, Rep. Lorena Austin, and Jacob Martinez, has outraised their Republican opponent. 

  • LD9 Democratic incumbent Senator Kiana Sears raised $74,015.08, compared to Republican candidate Bridget Fitzgibbons's $59,280.84.

  • LD9 Democratic House incumbent Rep. Lorena Austin and LD9 Democratic House candidate Jacob Martinez raised $38,749.90 and $57,462.58, respectively, compared to Republican House candidate Bradley Bettencourt’s $7,020.43.

"The overwhelming support for our Legislative District 9 slate reflects the momentum our Democratic candidates are building across Arizona," said Sara Kennedy, Executive Director of the Arizona Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee. "Arizonans are fired up and ready to elect leaders who will fight for working families, protect their freedoms, and move our state forward."
