Release: ADLCC Breaks Fundraising Records in Competitive Legislative Districts Across Arizona

PHOENIX — The Arizona Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (ADLCC) smashed third quarter fundraising records, raking in a total of $1,908,114.28 as of the filing deadline. On the annual Fall Fest Day of Giving - the most important national fundraising day of the year - the ADLCC raised a total of $470,000.

With just 18 days until Election Day, the ADLCC is incredibly proud of our Democratic legislative candidates who have worked for months to engage voters across the state. Democrats are only five seats away from flipping both the state House and state Senate blue for the first time since 1966.

LD-6 state House candidate Mayor Coral Evans shattered all fundraising records for state legislative races in Arizona, bringing in $336,508.01 in Q3 for a total of $555,839.13 raised. LD-11 state House candidate Felipe Perez, LD-11 state Senate candidate JoAnna Mendoza, LD-17 state Senate candidate Ajlan “AJ” Kurdoglu, LD-20 state House candidate Judy Schwiebert, LD-20 state Senate candidate Doug Ervin, LD-21 state House candidate Kathy Knecht, and LD-28 state Senate candidate Christine Marsh successfully outraised their GOP incumbent opponents.

“All eyes are on Arizona Democrats. Our candidates are breaking records and driving unprecedented momentum, and these numbers clearly show that people are ready for new leadership. The grassroots work and energy that we’ve invested in these districts is paying off,” said Charlie Fisher, Arizona Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee Executive Director. “As Election Day nears and the excitement continues to build, Democrats are poised to win majorities in the Senate and House this November.”
