For Immediate Release: “Primary Voting Shows Surge of Democratic Support in Arizona”

Phoenix – Voters made their voices heard during primary voting in Arizona yesterday, and now 83 Democrats will be on the ballot for their state legislatures this November.

“While we are still waiting for final vote totals, last night’s election underscores and reaffirms the unprecedented amount of energy and enthusiasm we are seeing at the legislative level this election cycle,” said Charles Fisher, Executive Director of ADLCC

Fisher added, “Our candidates and their teams have already knocked on nearly a hundred thousand doors and made tens of thousands of phone calls, and we’re just getting started.”

Legislative Democrats have run a strong campaign – with nearly 1,000 volunteers turning out to knock on 94,313 doors over the campaign cycle, making phone calls to voters reminding them to vote and have their voices heard.
